HELLO
My name is Derek. I am a Freelance Photographer based out of Pomeroy, Iowa. Three years ago I graduated from the prestigious Art Institute of Colorado with a degree in Photography. Previous to attending The Art Institute I graduated from ILCC with degrees in both Web Design and Photography. I love documentary photography but can photograph virtually any type of subject.
My photos have been published in National Hog Farmer Magazine, Aussie Times Magazine, and The Prairie Smoke. My photos have also been displayed at The Lakes Art Center, The Fonda Art Center, The Art Institute Portfolio Review, The Iowa State Fair, and The Coffee Bean.
